Wipro Infotech is looking out for bright and motivated B.Sc/BCA students from 2010 batch who can be a part of the prestigious Wipro Infotech Master of Science (WIMS) program.

We have scheduled a couple of campus events and would like you to invite eligible candidates you know to take part in the same. Please find below the relevant details for your reference.

Mandatory documents to be carried

· Copies of all marklists of all courses (Std 10, Std. 12, Degree)

WIMS - Program description

The selected candidates would indulge in On the job training within Wipro five days a week. They would simultaneously be provided an opportunity to pursue a Master of Science (M.S) in Systems Engineering course from the prestigious BITS, Pilani over the weekend and one day will be weekly off.

Upon successful completion of the MS program in four years, the students will be absorbed as full time employees of Wipro. Shortlisted candidates have to sign a bond of 4 years for Rs. 75,000. However there is no condition that they should continue working in the company upon successful completion of the MS program. Bank loan facility is available for the same.

Wipro will fund the entire admission/semester course fees of the 4 years of education and the student would be eligible for a monthly scholarship as well.

Eligibility criteria

•Consistent Academic Record

–Computers or Mathematics background is a must in the degree (BSc–Physics / Maths/ Statistics / Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science/IT or BCA graduates only)

–60% and above in 10th, 12th and degree (aggregate). Students appearing for Final year should complete their graduation securing 1stclass, else they will not be eligible for WIMS program.

–Maximum of One year gap is allowed after 12th

–2010 Passouts Only

•Full Time Course Only

•Candidate should have pursued Science stream in Std 12/PUC.

Note - Candidates who have taken part in Wipro recruitment process in the last six months are not eligible to apply

Year of Passing


Candidates who will be graduating in 2010 alone will be considered.



Academic Performance


60 % and above in Std. X, XII & 65% and above in Engineering.



Disciplines


BE/ BTech – CS, IT, IS and ECE branches only. Other disciplines won’t be considered for this process.

Colleges considered


Preference will be given to students who are from the Top Engineering Colleges.



EMC Proven Professional (EMCPP) certified candidates preferred.

The referred candidates who will be short listed for the test would be intimated directly about the selection process within the next 4 weeks.



Selection Process


The selection process involves a test for candidates who meet the criteria. Candidates who clear this test will then be short listed for a technical interview followed by a HR interview at a later date.



Please Note



· The test will be conducted at a venue located outside the EMC campus.

· Candidates will have to come to Bangalore to participate in this test. We will not be conducting tests in other locations.

· The logistical costs to attend the test and interviews, if short listed will have to be borne by the candidates. EMC will not be reimbursing any expenses in this regard.
